Read Judges 9 What do you think of Abimelech? Abimelech is son of Gideon's concubine. He wants to be King of Israel. Convinces men of Shechem to help him kill seventy of his brothers - upon one stone. After three years, YHVH intervenes/interferes. God influences men of Shechem, to kill Abimelech. Abimelech fights men of Shechem, and burns them in a tower. While trying to burn another tower, a woman drops a broken piece of millstone rider on his head. What's it all about? Why is this in scripture? Is the story ALL about Abimelech? Read part of - Did you read - God sent an evil spirit? Samuel wrote - and He is sending, Elohim, ruach roe(raah) (breath bad) - Ruach = breath. Raah = bad bad - adversity, punishment, reconciliation - much more. Why did God send a ruach raah? Version variants say - evil spirit. Evil - coined somewhere before 900 CE - Spirit - coined around 1200 CE - Judges - written around 550 BCE. Many see Holy Spirit - and think it is a person. Many see evil spirit - and think it is a person. Breath of YHVH, is not a person Breath of God - created substance through essence of God. God allowed Abimelech - to kill his brothers. God tolerated king Abimelech - for three years. God spectates/participates - as He will. God intervenes/interferes - as He will. God forgets - as He will. God does nothing - as He will. God does any combination of these - as he will. YHVH does it all - in His own timing. Whatsoever YHVH does He does it THROUGH Itself - FOR Himself - BY Himself - OF Himself YHVH breathes creativity through Himself YHVH breathes Justice through Himself YHVH Breathes Breath bad through Himself God sent an adverse breath to the sons of Shechem. What does sending an adverse breath to Shechem mean to you? Versions read - evil spirit - between the children of Shechem. Makes you imagine a corporeal being, controlling certain children, in Shechem. Many will think it is lucifer, and his fallen angels, wreaking havoc. This took place at around 1145 B.C. This was roughly about two thousands years before the word, "evil" was created, which was around the year 900 A.D. God interfered, and intervened, by using His divinely created punishment breath to influence men of Shechem to turn against Abimelech. Did you note that the evil (adverse) breath was singular, and not plural? The word, "raah" in this case is used as a verb. Adversity Breath of bad - in action. Old Testament- raah/bad - interpreted as - Evil, wickedness, wicked, mischief, hurt, bad, trouble, sore, affliction, ill, adversity, favoured, harm, naught, noisome, grievous, sad, misc. Quite a diversity of interpretation, for a single word - isn't it? How do you see God's evil breath, in this situation? Do you see Breath of evil? What is your impression of evil, now? Are you seeing a weird face, corporeal person, controlled by lucifer, going in and out of certain men's ears? Do you still envision what you were taught, from variant thoughts of evil - in scripture? Search for Truth Do you see - Breath of adversity and punishment? What was the punishment? Men of Shechem suddenly went against Abimelech. The punishment, was - death. Why didn't God just kill Abimelech? Why did God use BreathWind of bad (punishment), to influence men of Shechem? God's ways are not our ways. Read - Did you feel a declaration of God? Isaiah wrote - that not designs of Me, designs of you - and not ways of you, ways of Me - affirmation/declaration of YHVH. Read - Read - Read - God emphasizes His declaration with beautiful artistic, figurative language. God does certain things, certain ways - as He will. Trust in God. Breath of bad, from YHVH, sent punishment/reconcilation.
