Some say there are evil angels, as mentioned in Psalms.
What are Psalms? - Poems, Songs.
Who wrote Psalms? - David, Asaph, Sons of Korah, Moses, Solomon, and Anonymous.
Who was Asaph? - A priest appointed by David who was the head of music.

Psalm (Poem) 78:49 has the words, "EVIL ANGELS" in it.
What Bible VERSION are you reading?
What's the context about? - The Passover and the tenth plague on Egypt.
Who passes through Egypt killing the first born? - God, Himself.
Five times the LORD says HE does it by HIMSELF. God tells Moses, "I will pass through".
What's the death angel? - I don't know, I can not find it in scripture.
What's the angel of death? - I don't know, I can not find it in scripture.
Asaph was not a prophet, like David.
Asaph was a priest, an appointed song leader, and poet. He might have been a teacher.
The Old Testament word for ANGEL is, "Malak" = AGENT = MESSENGER.
Malak is exclusively SINGULAR of over a hundred scriptures, save for just a couple. One of them is the Psalm 78:49.
Asaph was singing and teaching something he had learned, and said, "AGENT TO DO BAD".
King James priests of the day decide to change it to plural, and wrote, "EVIL ANGELS".
The AGENT, or MESSENGER, or ANGEL that did evil, is God, HIMSELF.
The word, "EVIL" usually is taken to be, "SINISTER", but it means to do BAD, or PUNISH, in this case.
The context in this poem is the use of Evil - as in Punishment - not as in UnGodly.
God said - I will go.
Go to: Ex.11:4
God said - I will execute judgment.
Go to: Ex.12:12
God did BAD to Egypt.
God punished Egypt.
God, Himself, killed the firstborn of the land - man and beast.
God sent HIS messenger, which is HIMSELF, and killed the firstborn.
God executed judgment - HIMSELF.
Asaph wrote, and sung, and taught, that GOD sent an AGENT doing BAD (punishment) to Egypt, by killing the first born.
King James priests of the day, interpret this as, GOD sent - EVIL ANGELS.
Why?
It fit their theological agenda. They knew the difference between plural and singular.
In book of Exodus, Moses made no mention of evil angels for last plague in Egypt.
Moses wrote of only, God - HIMSELF - doing a punishment.
Asaph taught, and sung - unto YHVH.
YHVH - HIMSELF - delivered a punishment to a nation.
